That’s the whole point of the article — government has no legitimate business being involved in every aspect of human existence.

You forgot the line “You can’t build your stinky factory next to my house!”

And it also means that others are freer to develop alternatives to the product that just jumped in price by a factor of nine. For example: Epi-Pen — the price on Epi-Pens themselves went up by a factor of five, and a week later I saw a dozen articles on my Facebook feed showing how to get the same sort of treatment from alternative sources for about fifteen-twenty bucks.

I’m still waiting for my checks from my corporate sponsors.

Does the pipeline cross onto tribal land? If not, the tribe(s) have no standing to block it.

If we change or dump the tax system first, then there might not be a tax code with a 501(c)(3) provision in it. Whatever — the welfare agencies should still be non-profit charities outside the government sector.

As for the “smoke and mirrors,” we libertarians don’t see anything but that on the progressive side. Aesthetics are arbitrary.

“I know. I wanted to point out the lie within the rosy article. It is quite simple really, ask a few questions and wait for answers that actually make sense. I never get any.”

Funny — that’s what we think of progressives, too. What a coincidence!

Costs also rise for those of us in the private sector who get stuck with the bill for the welfare state, too. The public sector can tighten its belt just like we poor suckers not on the public sector payroll or the dole just as much, if not more.
