COVIDaphobia Mania Running Wild Again?!

Memes, Politics, Self-Defense, Reading, Viewing

Today (Tuesday, 19 July 2022) I saw this post on Facebook highlighting the heroic actions of one Elisjsha Dicken, who neutralized the Greenwood Park Mall shooter in Indiana as a benefit of exercising his individual, human, Constitutional right to own and carry weapons.

H/T “100% Anti-Democrat” Facebook page — Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 7:46 PM MST

OK, so the top part of the post is good to go —

Ison explained to WRTV, Dicken’s first shot at the gunman was from 40-50 yards away and it appeared the very first shot hit the gunman.

Dicken was able to hit the gunman with additional rounds.

And more still —

22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken neutralized the Greenwood Park Mall shooter within 15 seconds. He engaged the bad guy from 40-50 yards away and 8 of the 10 rounds he fired found their target. He has no CPL and was carrying a pistol under Constitutional Carry. He is not ex-military or police, and has no formal training. His grandfather taught him how to shoot. Raise a glass this evening to American hero Elisjsha Dicken.

OK, folks, this is the bizarre part —

NOWHERE in the text posted by the “Not The Bee” page’s admin(s) is there ANY mention of the Beer Bug.

So did Facebook’s “fact checkers” mistakenly attach a warning about Koof misinformation to this post?

Or maybe Facebook is trying to smear a story supporting the Second Amendment narrative by hook or by crook, using the approach of “throw your underwear against the wall and see if it sticks” ?

“Gun Debate 2022” ? Nothing of the Sort!

The op-ed page for for Thursday, July 7, 2022 [A11] titled “Gun Debate 2022” was nothing of the sort, in that there was NOTHING from the side supporting the individual right to own and carry weapons.

Rather, it would be better to label it as a full-page advertisement for the victim disarmament cause, dressed up as an op-ed page.

I call the anti-gun movement “victim disarmament” because it’s mostly the criminals’ victims who are going to be disarmed by their proposals — the five-foot, hundred-pound woman being stalked by the crazed six-foot, two-hundred-pound ex-boyfriend, the disabled little old lady, poor people, etc.

You see, the criminals and terrorists keep finding that massive loophole in the victim disarmers’ schemes called “breaking the law.”

Even the token “conservative,” Eligio Padilla, spouted off with the anti-gun talking points about “weapons of war.”

And you seriously wonder why the modern media is so distrusted nowadays?!

“No One Wants To Take Your Guns,” v. 06-22-2022

Filed under: memes, Politics, Principles, Resistance, Self-Defense — Tags: , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 9:08 PM (21:08)

Last year (Tuesday, 8 June 2021), one “MikeWrites” said that when hoplophobes and victim disarmers say that they don’t want to “take your guns” (forciby disarm you), that he isn’t in that crowd, and that he DOES want to take your guns.

H/T Larry Correia — Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 1:41 PM MST

Some notes and thoughts about this post —

The post in question (Tuesday, 8 June 2021) has apparently been deleted.

Mr. “MikeWrites” styles himself as a writer, yet apparently won’t post his real name. It’s understandable to not use your full name when explicitly stating that you’re willing to use deadly force to deprive others of liberty and property in order to have your momentary warm fuzzy that you “made a difference” and “got something done.”

What “MikeWrites” DOES do is post profilicly on Twitter (the first four letters of “Twitter” describe him to a tee).

It’s also apparent that “MikeWrites” hasn’t read “2nd Amendment and the Kool-aid Drinkers” by Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Paul Howe (U.S. Army (Retired))

Basically, CSM Howe was an “assaulter” with the “Delta Force” (1st Special Forces, Operational Detachment Delta). His 8-to-5, Monday-to-Friday occupation was dynamic-entry and close-quarter combat — when he wasn’t training for such operations, he was either on actual ops or training others to run such ops.

In “2nd Amendment and the Kool Aid Drinkers,” CSM Howe makes the case that enforcing firearms confiscation on a large scale will be a fools’ errand at best, and a bloodbath at worst, with the disarmament crowd’s enforcers suffering significant casualties. And that’s for people who train for this sort of thing as their day job.

Chances are that when “MikeWrites” says he’s OK with uncooperative gun owners being killed en masse in the name of victim disarmament, he’s not willing to “stack up” and do the wet work himself. He’ll be wanting to schluff the getting hands dirty part off onto law enforcement.

You see, “stacking up” and getting shot at by those of us unwilling to surrender liberty and property upon the demand of “MikeWrites” for his warm fuzzy of the day — well, that just might get in the way of “MikeWrites” posting pictures of his dinner plates to Twitter.

It’s also a good bet that “MikeWrites” was on board with the calls to “defund the police” in 2020, in response to the murder of George Floyd.

So he wants the people he expects to get shot at for his pet cause (victim disarmament) to do so, but without all of the weapons and ammo that they will insist on having for the task?

“MikeWrites” should also consider these facts:

  • The law-enforcement types that he expects and demands to his wet work for him consistently, to the tune of 60 to 70 percent, say that they don’t want anything to do with the victim disarmament cause. (I refer again to “2nd Amendment and the Kool-aid Drinkers.”)
  • In the states where restrictive laws have been implemented, compliance is spotty at best. Connecticut insisted that “assault weapon” owners register them after the Sandy Hook massacre — only five percent or so actually did, and state government there gave up insisting that everyone register them after it turned out that 68% of Connecticut’s cops would be among those required to register.
  • America has the world’s largest amount of firearms already in the civilian sector. F-Troop (“BATFE”) estimates that number to be around 300-320 million. Other estimates push the number as much as twice or three times the official estimate.
  • America has the world’s largest supply of precision machine tools. I read a comment posted to an article by a machinist that said it wouldn’t matter if guns were illegal — all he needed was time and metal, and he could make any weapon he wanted.
  • America has 12,000 miles of basically unenforceable borders and coastlines. Law enforcement only stops about five percent of the drugs being smuggled into the country. When the powers that be outlaw a commodity that’s in demand, whether it’s unsanctioned drugs or unsanctioned labor, someone will find a way to make money in satisfying that demand. Outlawing guns will simply allow organized crime, whether it’s the Mafia that was supposedly wiped out, the biker gangs or the street gangs, to get further into the weapons market.
  • Most of America’s food production areas (“Flyover Country” is what Frau Reichsecretary Hillary’s friends call it) is decidely pro-gun. Is he prepared and willing to raise your own vegetables, grain, beef, fish, pork, chickens?

In short, Mr. “MikeWrites,” it’s time for you and yours to shit or get off the pot.

“Stack up” or shut up, “MikeWrites” !

Lindsey Graham’s 30 Pieces of Silver, v. 2022?

Filed under: memes, Politics, Self-Defense — Tags: , , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 3:17 PM (15:17)

It seems that Lindsey Graham, the “senior” Republican U.S. Senator from South Carolina, is getting his just rewards for supporting “common sense gun safety” legislation, namely “an agreement on principle for gun safety legislation Sunday, which includes ‘needed mental health resources, improves school safety and support for students, and helps ensure dangerous criminals and those who are adjudicated as mentally ill can’t purchase weapons.'”

Aside from the fact that Graham won’t be up for re-election until 2026 (four years is almost an eternity where electoral politics is concerned), it seems that his recent “move to the center” in his quest to appease the hoplophobes and victim disarmers isn’t quite reaping the rewards he wants (the hoplophobes and victim disarmers saying good things about him) —

H/T Steven Barnes — Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 1:33 PM MST

You see, instead of congratulating Graham for “moving to the center” and “meeting them halfway,” the hoplophobes and victim disarmers are pissed at him for only giving them half a loaf, instead of the whole loaf and then some, such as outlawing civilian ownership of “assault weapons” such as AR-15-, M4- and AK-47-pattern rifles, and legalizing third-party litigation against gun manufacturers and retailers

So while Graham may get some accolades from the Necrotic Republican Association National Rifle Association for his pro-gun-when-it’s-convenient rhetoric, I suspect that he won’t get much traction with the rest of the right-to-own-and-carry-weapons crowd [GOA, FPC, etc.].

Ain’t that a cryin’ shame, now?

As they say in the South, “Bless your heart, Lindsey Graham.”

Quote of the Day for Thursday, 23 June 2022

Filed under: Principles, Quote of the Day, Reading, Resistance, Self-Defense — Tags: , , , — mikewb1971 @ 1:37 PM (13:37)

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?

Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? . . . The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

If . . . if . . . We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more — we had no awareness of the real situation . . . . We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

“But wait, there’s more!” as the televised pitchmen say.

Those same hoplophobe and victim disarmers who demand that you surrender your AR-15- and your AK-47-style rifles so that they can have their momentary “warm fuzzy” that they “got something done” and “made a difference” — their sock puppets in the New York State Legislature want New Yorkers that aren’t Political Classholes or in the service of same to surrender any privately-owned body armor in their possession:

Reason: New York’s Body Armor Ban May Be Stupidest Gun Legislation Yet

Heemeyer Muffler Repair
Poster’s location not shared ⋅ June 4, 2019

June 4th, 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of the Killdozer’s rampage through Granby, Colorado.

Sit down kids, and let me tell you a tale. A tale about a reasonable man driven to do unreasonable things.

Marvin Heemeyer was a man who owned a muffler shop in Granby, Colorado. The city council ordained to approve the construction of a concrete factory in the lot across from Marvin’s shop. In the process, this blocked the only access road to the muffler shop. Marvin petitioned to stop the construction to no avail. He petitioned to construct a new access road, and even bought the heavy machinery to do so himself. Denied.

The concrete factory went up in disregard to the ramifications on Marvin’s business. To add insult to injury, the factory construction disconnected the muffler shop from the city sewage lines. An indifferent city government then chose to fine Marvin for this.

His business and livelihood were in ruin. Rather than lie down and die, Marvin chose to fight back. Over the course of a year and a half, Marvin secretly outfitted the bulldozer he bought to save his business with 3-foot thick steel and concrete armor, camera systems, and enclosed bulletproof glass.

On June 4th, 2004 Marvin Heemeyer lowered the armored shell over top of himself, entombing himself inside the Killdozer to make his last stand.

He burst forth from the walls of his muffler shop and straight into the concrete factory that ruined his business. Over the course of the next several hours, Marvin drove his Killdozer through 13 buildings owned by those officials that had wronged him, including the city council building itself.

SWAT teams swarmed the dozer, but it proved immune to small arms fire and even explosives. Another piece of heavy machinery was even brought out to fight the Killdozer, but it too fell to the dozers righteous fury.

In the end, Marvin’s Killdozer became trapped in one of the buildings it was built to destroy. Marvin chose to take his life, the only life he took that day.

Today, we celebrate Killdozer Day and Marvin Heemeyer, the last great American folk hero. A man driven to the brink who chose to fight back against an indifferent system.

From notes left behind after his passing:

“I was always willing to be reasonable until I had to be unreasonable. Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things.”

HAPPY KILLDOZER DAY!
