If this clown really hated plastics as much as he claims to, he’d go out of his way to eliminate plastics from his life. I’m thinking that would include the plastic keyboard that he used to type the article in question, the plastics in his car, SCUBA gear, camera, and anywhere else.
This ties into the whole “synthetic = evil” meme (idiocy, really) that’s been worming its way through the Euro-American culture in recent years. When will its proponents cut the synthetic rubber tires from their cars, and drive around on bare rims? When will they strip the synthetic insulation from the wires in their homes?
