Does Trump Arouse You?

Filed under: Dark Side, Fun, Humor, Politics — Tags: , , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 12:59 AM (00:59)

No, Trump doesn’t arouse me in any way, but apparently he does get those who claim to hate and fear him a bit on the frisky side, as evidenced by this letter to Dan Savage’s Savage Love column —

I’m a longtime fan – reader and listener – and part of the 47 percent of white women who did NOT vote for Donald Trump. To say I’m disappointed, horrified, scared, and mad about the election is woefully insufficient. I donated $100 to Planned Parenthood this morning because I honestly felt like there was nothing else I could do. That being said, I wanted to share that I had one of the most weirdly charged, hottest, and sexiest orgasms. A little buzzed (dealing with those election results) and sad, my boyfriend and I turned to each other for consolation. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, we were fucking as Trump came on the TV to give his acceptance speech. As that orange blowhard spewed more bullshit about being our president, I rode my boyfriend’s big, beautiful dick until I came. It was the perfect way to say, “Fuck this. Now fuck me.” I encourage all your readers to fuck out the stress from this election. Yes, we should donate and volunteer and speak up and protest and vote and not give up hope, but we should also keep doing it and taking care of each other. Because love trumps hate, and fucking trumps . . . well, I’m not sure what fucking trumps. But it sure makes life better.

– Justifiably Unsettled Lass Intensely Emoting

And then Savage doubles down on the lust born from hate or fear of Trump, as demonstrated by “JULIE” —

It’s important to practice good self-care in the wake of a traumatic event – the election qualifies as a traumatic event – and going by the definition of self-care at GoodTherapy.org, fucking the living shit out of someone qualifies as self-care: “Actions that an individual might take in order to reach optimal physical and mental health . . . Self-care [includes] activities that an individual engages in to relax or attain emotional well-being, such as meditating, journaling, or visiting a counselor.”

They’re too polite over at GoodTherapy.org to include “fucking the shit out of someone” on their list of examples, JULIE, but what you did on election night – which just so happens to be the exact same thing I did on election night – certainly meets all the criteria.

And if anyone out there who did the same on election night – fucked the shit out of someone – is feeling the least bit guilty, please know that millions of Americans did the exact same thing after 9/11. We used a different term to describe all that post-9/11 fucking: “terror-sex,” which New York magazine defined as “urgent, unguarded, end-of-the-world coitus inspired by that day’s sudden jolt of uncertainty and fear.”

I want to thank you for writing, JULIE, and I want to second your recommendation: Sex, partnered or solo, makes life better – and people shouldn’t feel guilty about fucking someone else and / or fucking / jacking / dildo-ing themselves at this uncertain and fearful moment in our nation’s history. Yes, we must donate and volunteer and protest and vote, all while reminding ourselves daily that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. And we must commit to defending our friends, neighbors, and coworkers who are immigrants (documented or not), Muslims (American born, immigrants, or refugees), people of color, women seeking reproductive health care, trans men and women seeking safety, lesbian and gay men seeking to protect their families, and everyone and everything else Trump has threatened to harm, up to and including the planet we all live on.

But we must make time for joy and pleasure and laughter and friends and food and art and music and sex. During the darkest days of the HIV / AIDS epidemic, when Republicans and religious conservatives controlled the federal government and were doing everything in their power to harm the sick and dying, queers organized and protested and volunteered and mourned. We also made music and theater and art. We took care of each other, and we danced and loved and fucked. Embracing joy and art and sex in the face of fear and uncertainty made us feel better – it kept us sane – and it had the added benefit of driving our enemies crazy. They couldn’t understand how we could be anything but miserable, given the challenges we faced – their greed, their indifference, their bigotry – but we created and experienced joy despite their hatred and despite this awful disease. We turned to each other – we turned to our lovers and friends and sometimes strangers – and said, “Fuck them. Now fuck me.”

We didn’t eradicate HIV / AIDS, the disease that was sickening us then, but we fought it to a standstill and we may defeat it yet. The disease that now sickens our nation is different. We may never eradicate racism and sexism and hatred. But fight it we will. And don’t listen to anyone who tells you that music and dance and art and sex and joy are a distraction from the fight. They are a part of the fight.

So why aren’t there any blog posts from conservative or libertarians expounding on their fear or hate of Hillary Clinton making them horny?

Friday’s Bizarre Phone Call

Filed under: Fun, Humor, Life, Politics — Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 7:02 PM (19:02)

Friday afternoon (4 November 2016), I received a call from a Hillary Clinton supporter (calling from a private number) who complained about a robocall from the Gary Johnson campaign. The caller then proceeded to ramble on for 57 minutes about Gary being too stoned and narcissistic to be a good little Buddhist Democrat, that Gary was “stealing votes” from Hillzilla, along with side rants about Susana Martinez, Trump, the GOP in general, the Albuquerque Journal, and Ralph Nader (for “stealing votes” from Gore in 2000).

The caller also stated that Gary didn’t climb Mt. Everest as he said he did (and took pictures from the summit), that he was a lousy governor of New Mexico, didn’t do anything but say “no” to well-meaning “progressive” legislation that was “for the children,” that no one pays any attention to her “because I’m white,” that Susana Martinez was elected as Governor in 2010 solely on the strength of her last name, among other things.

I have the app “Automatic Call Recorder” installed on my LG K7, but it turns out that the app is the app equivalent of dogshit, as I discovered when I tried to copy the saved call from my phone to Facebook, WordPress or my laptop’s hard drive.

Idiot of the Day for Wednesday, 2 November 2016

Filed under: Networking, Organizing, Politics — Tags: , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 10:39 PM (22:39)

The Idiot of the Day is one Bill Tallman.

While browsing Facebook, I received a notification that a picture had been posted —

I dunno about you guys, but this is probably the most compelling ad I’ve ever gotten in the mail during election season.. Only problem for the sender is that it makes me want to vote for the person they are attempting a hit piece on, lol.. Doesn’t it make her actually sound really great?! Might make Hannah register and vote for her.. Thought and opinions very welcome!

When I asked the guy who posted the picture (an an-cap sort) who sent it to him, he replied —

Bill Tallman, the Democrat opponent, strangely enough, clearly a confusion campaign aimed at confused Republicans

The he followed up with this —

He knocked on our door about a month ago, and I chatted him up for about 30 or 40 minutes. He’s completely oblivious about libertarian perspectives on issues. I gave him a copy of Bastiat’s The Law.

Furthermore, I as a partisan Libertarian have no problems endorsing Lisa Torraco for re-election to her State Senate seat (District 18 [1]).

Libertarian Solutions to Closed, Non-Competitive Elections

Over the decades, we’ve seen America’s elections become less and less competitive, and slanted towards incumbents more and more.

In just this year’s election, eight of the seventeen State Senate seats in Bernalillo County are uncontested, with only one person running for the office. Correspondingly, twelve of the twenty-four State Representative seats in Bernalillo County are uncontested.

Part of this is simply due to New Mexico’s mañana culture of “I’ll get around to it when I feel like it” – with the end result (someone stepping forward to run for office) never happens.

Another part of this is the way that districting has been done in New Mexico, which heavily favors incumbents. When was the last time that a Republican stood a real chance of winning Congressional District 3, or a Democrat of winning District 2? The State House and Senate is similarly afflicted.

Here’s fixes to the system that Libertarians can get behind:

Enact uniform signature requirements for all candidates, regardless of partisan affiliation, or lack thereof. Every candidate for a given office should have to get the same number of signatures, and any registered voter should be able to sign any candidate’s nominating petition. No more of this bit about having to get signatures from only people registered with one party. End the current rule that if you sign more than one candidate’s petition, all of your nominating signatures are invalidated.

End the practice of using tax dollars to fund the conventions and primaries of the “major party” organizations. Let them pay for it themselves – they’re perfectly able to afford it, what with all of the donations that they get from corporate special interests.

Leave the straight-party voting option off the ballot. If it does get put back on, then put straight “YES” and “NO” options for the bond issues and judicial retention spots on the ballot.

Explicitly allow ballot selfies – basically, repeal NMSA 3-8-50 (A)(1). It’s your vote, thus you should be able to tell people about it. Any statute outlawing such voluntary disclosures is a violation of the First Amendment and of Article II, Section 17 of the State Constitution.

Eliminate all forms of public campaign financing, as that forces people to support via taxation candidates that they wouldn’t otherwise touch with a ten-mile pole.

Why should black, Latino and Jewish voters be taxed to fund a candidate fronting for the KKK or Aryan Nations?

Why should LGBT voters be taxed to support someone who thinks that Westboro Baptist Church doesn’t go far enough?

As with the “bake a cake” question, it’s all about freedom of association, folks. Let people support candidates of their own free will, or not at all. Maybe they have something better to spend the money on, like food, utilities, car payments, whatever? It’s their money, not yours or mine.

If you really want a form of candidate subsidies in place, let the parties do it themselves. Again, as with conventions and primaries, they have plenty of cash. As long as there’s cash in the public till and the State has the power to regulate the private sector, the donors will be there, attempting to influence the system in their favor.

Or set up a domestic non-profit LLC (something like a 501-c-3 under the current federal tax code). Make sure that its charter forbids its officers from lobbying the Roundhouse or any other governmental body, or from accepting any money from the public treasury. While you’re at it, make sure its charter also forbids its officers from making statements on any other issue while representing the organization. You do want to keep it as non-partisan as possible, correct?

If you seriously want to give the candidates a hard time about campaign finance, don’t limit how much they can take from any one donor. Again, it’s not your money or mine, it’s the donor’s. Instead, ask the candidates about how much they received, and from whom. Use your rights under the First Amendment and Article II, Section 17 to tell your friends, family, whoever, about the candidates’ strengths and shortcomings. Especially if the candidates’ election year ad copy doesn’t match up with what they do while in office.

I’m sure that there are many more things that can be done to fix New Mexico’s broken election system without making government bigger, more intrusive or more expensive. Who has the courage to make them happen?

[LPNM+] Why I Oppose the New Mexico Denial of Bail Measure, by Freddie Joe Nichols III

Why I Oppose the New Mexico Denial of Bail Measure

Coming up on the ballot on November 8th is a ballot measure called, New Mexico Denial of Bail Measure, Constitutional Amendment 1. The measure’s goal is to allow police time to investigate dangerous crimes while keeping the defendant locked up by denying them bail. It definitely sounds good at face value, “to protect community safety.”

To be fair, the measure attempts to fix a few issues that we have currently like removing the portion that requires people who were previously convicted of 2 or more felonies to automatically be denied bail of 60 days after incarceration if they are accused of another crime, and also ensuring that non-violent offenders can be released even if they don’t have the financial means to post bail. These changes would definitely be great wins in terms of due process, but there’s more.

The measure removes the limit on how long the state can deny an individual bail. So, if a judge deems someone who has been accused of a crime to be a “danger” they can deny them bail indefinitely. Let me say that a different way. If someone is accused of a crime and hasn’t had a trial to prove their innocence or guilt, a judge can still decide that they are dangerous and keep them locked up forever. The idea that a judge, or any state agent for that matter, can decide to keep an individual imprisoned forever just because they think that individual is dangerous is a major violation of due process. I’m sure during the American Revolution, King George III would have claimed all of our Founding Fathers were dangerous and imprisoned them forever if he were given the chance.

This measure, as with most measures, has some good and some bad. In my opinion the bad outweighs the good, and we will have better opportunities to address these issues going forward. Anytime I see “to protect community safety” at the beginning of a bill I start looking for the rights they are trying to infringe on this time. I can’t in good conscience vote for something that has the potential to allow the state to indefinitely detain a person who has not been tried by a jury of his / her peers and convicted of a crime. I will be opposing New Mexico Denial of Bail Measure, and I encourage each of you to do the same.

In Liberty,
Freddie “Joe” Nichols III
Candidate for NM State Representative District 54

Team Hillary Spews Yet Again

Filed under: Humor, Politics, Principles — Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 5:59 PM (17:59)

No, that isn’t the actual Hillary Clinton for President campaign bus.

But maybe it SHOULD be Her Majesty’s official stagecoach.

Hillary’s performance as a U.S. Senator and Secretary of State was bad enough – the above picture sums up her “public service” rather nicely.

So does the next bit –

Remember this scene from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation ?

The reality in Lawrenceville, Georgia doesn’t seem to be far from that clip –

Gateway Pundit: Figures. Hillary Bus Caught Dumping Sh*t on Highway (VIDEO)

WND: Hillary bus caught illegally dumping poop in street

CBS-46 WGCL-TV video clip on reddit

One wonders if Christian de la Rosa (the local TV reporter on the scene) will soon be dead found after having “committed suicide” from being shot in the back of the head several times, from different angles. Or killed via an “accident” at the local gym.

For what it’s worth, maybe Donald Trump might get some mileage out of this incident for a few days, but does anyone really expect any significant legal ramifications from this for Team Hillary?

Seriously, folks?

If any of us Joe Sixpack types did that sort of thing, we would be looking at hefty federal-, state-, and local-level fines (at least 10,000), jail or prison time, a felony conviction, being unhireable for years, that sort of thing.

If anything happens to Team Hillary, it will most likely fall upon the bus driver and campaign crew of the bus. Any senior staff involved will most likely skate on this one.

Of course, I’m just guessing here, but if the past is any indicator – the private home-based server, Benghazi, Rosatom, Libya, Syria, the DNC emails, Vince Foster, Whitewater, the 1994 White House health care task force, interactions with George Soros, – Hillary and her senior staff won’t have to give up the cocktail party circuit one bit.

Yeah, I know what the Hillzillers will say – “She didn’t tell them to do that! You can’t hold her responsible for that!”

Why not?

If anyone is a supporter of third-party liability to get at parties with deep pockets, it’s Hillary.

Just ask the gun industry – she’s been talking about repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act for a while now.

It just goes to show, you might be able to take Hillary out of the corruption, but you can’t get the corruption out of Hillary.

For the record, NO, Hillary is NOT a “wonderful public servant,” despite whatever you’ve heard on CNN. For anyone who says that Hillary has “no criminal intent,” I defy you to cite ten (10) times in the last twenty years when she’s acted WITHOUT criminal intent (the intention of taking from others without their consent, etc.).

Vote NO on the UNMH Mill Levy

Filed under: Politics, Principles — Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 1:15 AM (01:15)

Vote NO on this mill levy.

Tell UNM to get that 95 million from the legislators’ pensions, the film subsidies, the Local Economic Devlopment Authority, oil and gas subsidies, NMHIX, the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, among other places.

The politicians love to load up the bond issues and mill levies with the popular stuff – buildings, infrastructure and “services” that “must” done by government, because “no one in the private sector can or will do them” – police, libraries, senior centers, community centers, sewers, storm drains, flood control, and so forth.

We all know that’s hogwash, to put it delicately.

Once the politicians load up the bonds and levies with the popular stuff, that frees them to use more from the general budget for their pet projects, their legalized vote-buying schemes (each City Councilor in Albuquerque is allocated ∅1-2 million annually for “needed improvements in their district), making sure that someone in the inside loop gets the contract for the next “necessary” project.

And when was the last time that taxes in Bernalillo County actually went down? Between the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, we’re paying some of the highest gross receipt taxes in the state – currently at 7.3125 percent.

Now they expect us to pay even more?!

Tell the politicians that for every new tax they want to impose upon us, at the very least, get rid of an equivalent tax, so that the overall burden doesn’t increase.

Or – and I know this will be taken as pure insanity by the Political Classholes – they could actually CUT taxes a bit. (AND cut some spending, too? Would that really be too much to ask?)

[LPNM] Supporting Future Candidates

Filed under: Networking, Organizing, Politics, Principles — Tags: , , , , , — mikewb1971 @ 11:17 PM (23:17)

I think that for next year’s State Convention, I will sponsor a resolution that for the LPNM to consider endorsing any presidential candidate(s), that those candidate(s) must first have attended two (2) Libertarian Party events within the last calendar year.

UPDATE 1 — also include vice-presidential candidate(s).

UPDATE 2

For presidential and VP candidates, 2 LP events in general.

For statewide candidates in New Mexico, LPNM events.

Even if it doesn’t pass, that’s one thing I’ll be looking at as a criterion.

UPDATE 3

Tue, Aug 23, 2016 at 4:17 PM:

What constitutes an event? Showing up at national and having a pow-wow with the big boys over drinks or what? Showing up at a bake sale by an LP group somewhere in the US?

I would say that any public event should qualify.

Also who will be in charge of gathering the information and from whom? How do we verify it? Do we always even have access to the candidates before the convention to ask them these questions?

I would think that the candidate in question would want such contact with the party “insiders” to be public knowledge, so the candidate would probably publicize that attendance. Thus it should be easily findable using a simple web search or two.

If it comes into question, then the burden of proof should be on that candidate’s supporters, in my opinion.

I think if the majority of the caucus wants to endorse a presidential candidate, that should honestly be enough..no purging or hurdles necessary.

Shouldn’t we want people who are involved in the party more than a month before the nomination?

Nominating people who can’t be bothered to show up until nomination weekend is a recipe for disaster.

Seriously — if someone can’t be bothered to attend two (2) LP events somewhere in the United States within a year, chances are that they’re not a serious candidate for a nationwide office.

Sow the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind

Larry Correia sums up the conversations I had with local Republicans back in 2012 over Romney and U.S. Senate candidate Heather Wilson.

I’ve added additional line breaks and spaces for readability, corrected a few typos, but otherwise haven’t changed it.

Mind you, for me it took place over the space of six months, whereas Larry Correia says it only took two days. I guess that’s part of the price of fame?

Where I differ with Larry (and most of the Republicans) is this part about McCain and Romney:

Still voted for them because they were obviously better than Obama.

Both McCain and Romney were routinely on the side of making the welfare state more expensive, the regulatory state more intrusive. Both used gun owners as a rhetorical soccer ball, to be kicked around when politically expedient. Both support the scam of “global warming,” “climate change” and the “necessity” for “clean” energy sources (solar, wind, geothermal) to be subsidized, if only it’s their people getting the subsidies.

Still, better late than never, right?

Anyway, on to the fun part —

Larry Correia

What the last two days have been like on the internet:

Me: I will never vote for Trump.

Trumpkins: Quit your whining butt hurt crybaby, you owe us your vote, so get in line!

Me: No

Trumpkins: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

That, times a thousand.

OR:

Me: I will never vote for Trump.

Sad Republican: Lesser of two evils! SCOTUS picks!

Me. Long winded response about how a short term victory to get an amoral statist into office in our name, will tarnish the conservative movement forever, and ensure authoritarian democrat socialism for a generation.

Sad Republican: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! (only spelled correctly, and arranged in coherent sentences)

EDIT TO ADD: And look down, already it begins again. I started responding down there, but you know what? Fuck those guys. They’ve proven over the last few months they’re too stupid to live anyway. Why waste time responding to bullshit individually, when I can just respond to all the tired bullshit up here once? It is like an industrial bullshit thresher!

WHAAAAAAAAA you might as well vote for Hillary.

Funny. You low information dipshits elected a democrat, so now it is the problem of life long conservatives that another different democrat will win because we won’t support your democrat?

But WHAAAAAAAAAAAA

EDIT 2:

WHAAAAAAA staying home is a vote for Hillary!

Nope.

WHAAAAAAAAA voting third party is a vote for Hillary!

Nope.

The best thing that ever happened for Hillary was you morons picking the one dude out of 15 she was the most likely to beat.

WHAAAAAAAA conservative SCOTUS!

You should have thought of that before you picked an amoral liberal to be your guy then, huh?

EDIT 3

WHAAAAAAAAAAAA Build a Wall!

Ain’t gonna happen. Sucker.

WHAAAAAAAAAAA! People like you should get out of America!

Try and make me. You’d better bring friends.

WHAAAAAAAA! u r teh suck i not can spell words gud America!

Well. Okay then. (check the other thread this one is surprisingly common)

EDIT 4

WHAAAAAAAA! McCain! Romney!

Yep. A big government asshole and a mushy moderate. Still voted for them because they were obviously better than Obama. Trump is Clinton in an Oompa Loompa costume. Trump makes Romney look like Reagan. Trump makes McCain look calm and rational.

WHAAAAAAA! RINO! Establishment!

So you ran an amoral statist who funds the establishment? That’ll show them.

EDIT 5: This responding once thing is fantastic! I should have thought of it years ago.
grin emoticon

Sad Wishful Thinking Republican: WHAAAAA? IF he isn’t lying recently, and IF he surrounds himself with good people (who he has been insulting and lying about for months) and IF this malignant narcissist listens to advice and IF his clownish behavior is just an act and IF he doesn’t totally drag down the GOP and IF he doesn’t cost us the senate, then MAYBE he’ll be okay? WHAAAA?

Damn dude. That’s a lot of ifs. I want a pony.

EDIT 6: WHAA? Even though he’s been in favor of gun bans his whole life and helped anti gun politicans get elected in states he doesn’t even do business in as recently as 2014, And he’s either lying and made it to 68 before he realized what the 2nd Amendment was for, or he’s just really really slow. And he still bans concealed carry on his properties . . . But his son shoots 3-gun competition, so maybe he’ll be okay on guns? WHAAA?

Good luck with that.

WHAAAAAAAAAAA! He has to fund the campaigns of liberal statists! Because that’s just good business! Sure, he overwhelmingly gave to liberals, and the only republicans he gave to were the establishment types we supposedly hate, but bribery is normal and good! EXTRA WHAAAAAAA!

You’re a fucking retard.

EDIT 7: (this one doesn’t get a WHAAA, because it is more of a SIGH) I’m not going to yell at you or demand you fall in line. Trump is evil. Hillary is worse. I have to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Can’t fault your reasoning. But for me and a lot of people? Trump is a bridge too far. We’ve had moderates and RINOs and held our nose and voted for them. But this isn’t a moderate or a RINO. This is an amoral statist authoritarian liberal, who got to where he was by being a huckster con appealing to anger and fear. He is a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He is an insult to the founders, a disgrace to our people, and in the unlikely event he wins, will probably go down in history as the man who ended any hope of small government or individual liberty in America.

I won’t have that stain on my soul.

EDIT 8: These are from the mega thread.

WHAAAAAAAAA Your bad language and hurtful words offend me! You should be more respectful and clean up your language! But Trump tells it like it is Keeping It Real!

Actually, that one is so stupid it shouldn’t get a whaa. It should get a baaaa. Sheep.

WHAAAAAAAA God has forsaken America, insert smug religious nonsense here! Now support my amoral serial adulturing pro abortion casino owner or God will smite thee!

As a religious man, all these years I thought those dumb stereotypes about idiotic hypocritical evangelicals were made up by smug liberals to mock Christians. It took Trump to show me the light. Praise the flaxen haired casino god!

EDIT 9: WHAAA! What could possibly persuade you to support Trump?

He nominates a fantastic VP and then has a stroke before November.

EDIT 10

WHAAAA! I’m poor. You are rich. My roof leaks and it is conservatives fault. I can’t afford health insurance because of Obamacare so I love the guy who supports single payer. Make America Great again! My run on paragraph complains about how unfair life is and you are being mean, then I’m going to complain about your religion and act surprised that in the year 2016 a grown up plays video games.

And the funny thing is, this particular dude opened by accusing me of having a “melt down”.
grin emoticon

EDIT 11:

WHAAAAA! If you don’t vote for Trump you can’t complain!

Oh? Watch me.

WHA? Insert Tortured Chess Game Analogy — in check because of a horrible mistake, but where a desperate gamble can still pull out an ugly win, but closes with a vow to not make that mistake in the next game . . .

Artistic, except Trump is more Hungry Hungry Hippos speed than Chess. Also, you assume after this victory there will be another game to be had. Not if Trump drags the GOP down with him there isn’t. Both sides will be the same color after that. It will be all big government statism to the end.

You want to talk chess? Try thinking more than one move ahead. Trump win now. Authoritarian win forever.

WHAAAAAAA! You are my favorite writer but I want to have Trump babies and you called me low information so my feeling are hurt!

Good. That was what I was going for. Low information is being charitable. That suggests you are basically a decent person who fell for a con. The other possibility is that you saw through his populist rhetoric, but you actually do want an authoritarian strongman in control. Now that would be really insulting.

EDIT 12:

WHA-sniff. Pretentious literary criticism guy shows up and gets all snide and bitchy because I’m professional writer, then acts aloof.

Yep. I’m rich, popular, and successful. It’s awesome. You should try it some time.

WHAAAAA! No you’re the whining WHAAAA! Don’t say I’m upset or I’ll yell at you more! WHAAAA!

She said, totally oblivious that there is another thread on my page with 3000 posts about Trumpkins declaring any criticism of their false idol whining / crying / butthurt / meltdown. Because when you’ve got no coherent policy beyond slogans, you’ve got to meet criticism somehow!

WHA! Larry you were involved in shaking up this other small political thing involving a few thousand people! Why don’t you fix all the political problems in a country with 330 million people? WHA?

Yeah, dude, I’ll get right on that.

Scrolling through . . . A bunch more from sad republicans voting for the lesser evil. Yep. Feel your pain. Scroll up. No need to respond to those again. Angry Trumpkins. Roger that.

Ooooh, a new one.

WHAAA! NO LABELS! You shouldn’t call people Trumpkins!”

Forgive me No Labels Police. Writing out Coalition of Authoritarians And Low Information Voters Motivated By Anger And Fear Who Are Now Fully Invested In A Cult of Personality That Will Allow No Dissent got a little long to keep typing.

Now back to work. I have to keep up earning lots of money so the GOP fundraisers will keep calling me. This time I can laugh at them.

EDIT 13: Went to lunch, took care of some NFA paperwork, on the drive listened to conservative talk radio show hosts tying themselves into knots trying to explain away Trump’s authoritarian or nonsensical positions.

Now I’m back. Let’s see what’s new in this thread.

WHAAAAA! No you’re the whiner! I’m not going WHAAA! I know you are but what am I! I don’t care what you think! WHAAAA!

That is indeed a very compelling argument from somebody who feels the need to post on a complete stranger’s Facebook page.

WHAAAAAA! The establishment was owned by Goldman Sachs and George Soros! Oh wait . . . Trump has only been the nominee for 48 hours and he’s already hired a Goldman Sachs partner and George Soros hedge fund manager to be his finance chief to tap into that sweet liberal establishment money . . . Uh . . . Never mind! YOU SOUND ANGRY! CRY SOME MORE! WHAAA!

Ooh, a question I missed from earlier. Which VP pick would make me likely to back a Trump ticket?

There’s a bunch, though I’m not sure who would want to hitch his horse to this dumpster fire, but you missed the important part of my statement, which would be the catastrophic stroke before November.

Lots of You Sound Angry. Well, yeah I’m angry. A plurality of half wits picked the most uniquely unsuited candidate in Republican history. Duh. But I’m also perfectly rational writing about it. We might be at the fall of the Roman Empire, but at least I live in Byzantium.

Flipping through comments the rest is pretty much more of the same. Wow, there are some real braniacs in Trump cheerleader camp. Having those guys as the new standard bearers and big thinkers will be awesome for you guys. You traded in Thomas Sowell for Sean Hannity.

Then lots of posts from the despondent republicans rationalizing having to vote for an authoritarian clown, because he might be better than the harpy. Truly, I feel for you guys. I get why you’re doing it. Just can’t in good conscience pull that lever myself. Have fun explaining, defending, or owning all of his terrible decisions until November though.
smile emoticon

EDIT 14:

LOL! (they put LOL so you know when they are trying to be funny, otherwise it is really hard to tell) This Larry Correia guy obviously has a lot of free time on his hands!

Heh . . .
He he he
Ha ha ha ha HAW
BWA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAA snort

Oh, wait . . . You’re serious?

Though that isn’t as dumb an assumption as the guy in the last thread who said I must be a welfare check cashing Obama lover. I can’t wait until I finally make it as a *real* writer and I can write one book like every five years, instead the 2 1/2 a year I do now. I’m doing these edits between breaks working on a real book. Each one takes a couple minutes. Comments like this make me think that most people write really, really slow. It must suck to be lame like that. Get faster, scrub.

WHAAA!!! Electing Hillary will start a war!

Posted simultaneously with

WHAAAA! We need to burn it all down!

Sheesh, make up your mind Trumpkins.

WHAAAAAAA! Trump lives rent free in your head! Shut up or you will be accused of having Trump Derangement Syndrome! EXTRA HARD WHAAAAA!

Yeah . . . Because how crazy is it that a writer is writing about the biggest news story in the country right now, 48 hours after it happened? I’ll just toss that one in the Better Fall In Line pile.

The only derangement I’m seeing is people trying really hard to believe that Trump isn’t a liberal progressive. That’s like psychotic break level reasoning, but many here do seem to be pulling it off.

And the Naked Trump photo. YOU MONSTER. WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN CANNOT BE UNSEEN!

EDIT 15:

WHAAAA but liberal celebrities say they’ll leave the country if Trump wins!

Nobody is actually leaving. Liberals, like Trump, lie a lot.

WHAAAAAA! 25% of federal employees will quit if Trump leaves.

Nobody is actually quitting. Federal employees, like Trump, lie a lot.

WHAAAAAAA! This is TOO LONG!

But written in five minute blocks spread out over a long work day made it hilarious.
grin emoticon

##

I do believe that covers it. I’ll come back periodically to see what fresh forms of bullshit these mealy mouthed motherfuckers have brought up to try and persuade us to vote for their amoral statist over the other amoral statist.

FINAL EDIT — Oh man, that was fun. For anybody reading this whole thing, it started early this morning. About every hour or so I’d tune back in, read the new stuff, and comment once. I wish I would have thought of this years ago!

I had a mega thread the other day, but with FB’s ridiculous subthread comment system, I realized I was having 20 simultaneous arguments, and repeating myself because it was all the same thing over and over. This was way cooler, and with the added benefit of not having to listen to pedantic twats playing the childish Get The Last Word In game
