Weld does. He might say he doesn’t, then makes some comment during an interview a day later that indicates that he really does.

Weld and Romney are really Democrat wannabes — too cowardly to go the DNC and actually sign up.

For anyone putting out campaign signs —

Just make sure that any signs you put up near polling places are AT LEAST one hundred feet (100′) away from the actual polling place. Also, you aren’t permitted, per State Election Code, from carrying any signs within that distance, or wearing any campaign T-shirts, buttons, hats. Same goes for Libertarian Party signs, shirts, hats, buttons, etc.

Back in 1998, there was a guy working for Maurice McDonald’s land commissioner campaign who tried to enter the polling place wearing a “VOTE LIBERTARIAN” T-shirt, was told this, refused to remove the shirt, and ended up getting arrested, charged, etc., for it.

Understand this is coming from the State of New Mexico.

What happened in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania four years ago is IRRELEVANT.

If you enjoy spending time in handcuffs, feel free to do so.

Yeah, it is a violation of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and Article II, Section 17 of the State Constitution.

And I’m one of the LP’s more radical members.

That being said, I’ve been handcuffed before, and it isn’t fun. This isn’t an issue that I’m willing to spend any time in cuffs for. If it is for you, be my guest.

The tabloid I always got a laugh from was the Weekly World News, with their “Bat Boy” stories and the like.

    From the article:

“If Bill Weld were at the top of the Libertarian ticket, instead of playing second fiddle, that would be another matter entirely. But he is not.”

If Mr. Bill were at the top of the LP ticket, it wouldn’t be a libertarian ticket at all because Mr. Bill isn’t a libertarian, and doesn’t seem to care in the slightest about the Non-Aggression Principle or the Libertarian Party’s Statement of Principles. His being the presidential nominee would result in significant numbers of libertarians either voting the air or staying away from the polls entirely.

Direct the people you don’t actually know to your Facebook *Page*. There doesn’t seem to be any limit to how many people can click “Like” on your Page.

Then set your Twitter account to post to your Facebook *profile* and your WordPress blog to post to your *Page,* and your WordPress blog to post to your Twitter feed. After that, when you post a blog entry on WordPress, it goes to both your FB profile and Page at the same time, as well as your Twitter feed.

I’m in Albuquerque, but I’m setting up pages and groups like these for all of the LP county affiliates that don’t already have them, as well as for counties where there’s no affiliate. That way, when new people join up, they don’t have to start from scratch.
