Moore, North Carolina, LGBTQ and Freedom of Association

I saw this popping up on my Facebook feed in the past few days —

So now we know what it takes to shut down a showing of one of Moore’s crappy “documentary” flicks.

Seriously, why can’t Moore extend this same courtesy to the rest of the United States?

Does Moore really believe that people who don’t watch his moivies are somehow deprived?

Even better — the counterpoint of Howard Stern.

Back in the 1980s, Stern ran some sort of survey to see what his listeners were like.

The results were somewhat surprising, to put it mildly.

The people who liked Stern’s routine would listen for an hour or so, then move on to other things.

The people who hated Stern, who thought of Stern being devilspawn and such . . . those people would not only listen to the entire show, but would record it in order to demonstrate to friends and family the true depths of Stern’s depravity.

Advertising like that, you can’t pay for it.

Thus, I would think that Moore would want his flicks to run where they would piss people off, just for publicity’s sake.

China’s “Sesame Credit” — Coming to America Soon!

Filed under: Networking, Preparedness, Resistance, Technology — Tags: , — mikewb1971 @ 11:41 AM (11:41)

After watching that video clip, who can truthfully say that the DNC and a good bit of the RNC wouldn’t want something along the lines of China’s proposed “Social Credit System” for deployment here in the States?

Why, they might even make your health a part of your “personal score,” thanks to Obama’s federalized copy-and-paste job from Massachusetts Romneycare. So much for the “privacy guarantees” that were allegedly instituted with HIPAA.

If the Imperial District wants to know if you’ve made any financial transactions that they disapprove of, they can always check with the\ Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and add those to your score.

I’m sure I left some things out, but the Imperials from the District of Criminals will think of things to fill in any blanks I left here.

All Leviticus 18:22 says is that “a man shall not lie with a man as with a woman . . . ” Nothing in there like “a woman shall not lie with a woman as with a man . . .”

Therefore lesbianism should be OK, Biblically speaking. Especially hot-looking lesbians like the ones featured on porn sites.

I ask the proponents of “anti-discrimination” laws this:

Should a gay or lesbian baker be forced to bake a cake for the Westboro Baptist Church?

If you answer “Yes,” at least you’re consistent.

If you answer “No,” then you’re supporting selective enforcement, based upon the idea that some people are more deserving of legal protections than others.

I’ve said it before, and probably will say it again a few more times before I croak —

Every time this “left-libertarian vs. right-libertarian” thing comes up, the “libertarian” part gets put on the back burner (if not into the trash) and the same tired old “left vs. right” bit comes to the forefront.

In short, a waste of time for libertarians.

The article got it wrong — Batman vs. Superman is the seventh Superman flick, not the second.

Also, Superman can be Cobra Commander’s pet superhuman — he wears the same sort of color scheme as the Cobra Vipers (red on blue background).

Seriously, why don’t Marvel and DC do a merger, then combine all of the heroes and villains together into a super-ginormous gangbang like Injustice: Gods Among Us crossed with the Secret Wars from the 1980s, sort of like Mark Millar’s Wanted hinted at in its backstory ?
