ZERO — A tyrannosaur was a carnivore, and probably wouldn’t go for either oatmeal or weed. Or cocaine, for that matter.

What the tyrannosaur WOULD go for is the idiot trying to feed it coke, weed or oatmeal.

“The term ‘ecotourism’, like ‘sustainable tourism’, is considered by many to be an oxymoron. Tourism in general depends upon and increases air transportation, contributing significantly to greenhouse gas emissions from combustion placed high into the stratosphere where they immediately contribute to the heat trapping phenomenon behind global warming and climate change. Additionally, ‘the overall effect of sustainable tourism is negative, where, like ecotourism, philanthropic aspirations mask hard-nosed immediate self-interest.'”

    Their modus operandi:

    1. Milk the donors.
    2. Get as many of their people into public office.
    3. Using their people in public office, milk everyone else.

I for one am excited about developments such as the 80% AR-15 lowers, Cody Wilson’s Ghost Gunner desktop CNC machine, 3D printing, the fact that you can make an AK-47 using a shovel as raw material for the receiver (search for it on DuckDuckGo or Startpage) . . .

The hoplophobes and victim disarmers always forget these points:

    1. The United States has 12,000 miles of basically unenforceable borders. If people can be smuggled in and cars smuggled out routinely, how can they stop guns from coming in?
    2. There are hundreds of millions of firearms in America’s existing stockpiles, with more being added every day. I doubt that people panic-buying guns for the past few years intend to turn them in.
    3. America has the world’s largest stockpiles of precision machine tools. You can order a lathe or CNC machine and have it delivered to your home, with the only paperwork being the sales slip, if you have the FRNs available to you. Add in the Ghost Gunner I mentioned above . . . And that sort of tech is only going to get cheaper and more versatile as time goes on.
    4. Surveys of cops and military personnel consistently yield results showing 60-70 percent of them to be on our side to a large degree. Add to this the fact that the “fusion centers” in various states are parroting the DHS / SPLC line labeling veterans as “potential terrorists.”
    5. Most of America’s food production takes place in areas friendly to gun ownership.
    6. To go from one part of “Gun Free America” (really Hoplophobatopia) to another (the “liberal” states and big cities), they have to traverse the gun-friendly turf.

A vote for Romney was a vote for Obama. If you opposed Obama’s policies, why would you vote for someone who was basically going to continue them, only with his own spin on them?

  4. nmpolitics.net – Re: State-by-state, let’s make reducing gun deaths a bipartisan priority

I agree. Let’s talk about expanding gun rights so that when the White House and the Congress finally do get around to issuing confiscation orders, there will be no way to actually enforce those orders.

So far the only “reason” I’ve seen offered here that Romney would have been “better” than Obama is that Romney has an “R” after his name as opposed to Obama’s “D.” Vince McMahon couldn’t have scripted it any better than that.

Principles FIRST, THEN individuals, and organizations LAST.

One of the reasons Slick Willard lost to Obama was that Mittens was / is just as much a gun grabber as Obama.

Another reason Slick Willard lost to Obama is that his plan to “repeal and replace Obamacare” was to replace it with Massachusetts Romneycare, which Jon Gruber helped Obama, Pelosi and Reid copy and paste into the U.S. Code as Obamacare.

    2. Be wary of unsolicited tow trucks, repair offers, etc.
  4. p.15 — “Interstate Icon”
    1. Apparently, every winter, the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority [AMAFCA] builds a 13-15-foot tall “snowman” out of tumbleweeds painted white, with a black-painted 55-gallon drum as a tophat. Then they leave it on the roadside of westbound I-40 near the Big I (where I-40 intersects with I-25). I guess AMAFCA needs to keep its employees “busy” during the winter months . . . ?
