@zhyiouu – That’s where I first saw it, too. I probably still have that copy.

No such thing as “gouging” for people who support free markets – if you’re not willing to pay the asking price, you don’t have to buy.

The hoplophobes like to ask “Does the Second Amendment cover TANKS?! Who really needs a tank?”

Considering that the Founders who wrote the Second Amendment wanted the private citizenry to have military parity if not supremacy over the government, I’d say that YES, we DO need tanks.

Gotta love this – the same people who want to deny you ownership of a .22LR revolver have absolutely no problem deploying all of the “terrible implements of the soldier,” as Tench Coxe put it, against those with whom they disagree. And we’re supposed to just sit here and take it, simply on their say-so, because they “know better” than us. Never mind that ninety-nine out of a hundred of them have next to zero experience in the military, in law enforcement, in martial arts.

And next year these Republicans will market themselves as “supporters of the Second Amendment.”

Doesn’t matter if the seller can find a willing buyer at that price. “Gouging” is a leftist word, as much as the whole “left vs. right” BS mentality applies.

Irrelevant – maybe CTD will find someone to pay the higher price. More power to them if they do. If they don’t, then they’ll probably drop their price a bit to attract more potential buyers. Anyway, what’s it to you if you’re not going to buy from them?

And complaining about someone selling a product that you’re not going to buy in a manner you disapprove of benefits you . . . exactly how? Either way, CTD isn’t going to get your 1800 FRN, so what’s the big deal?

Yes, I am welcome to pay the extra 1800 FRN. But then I wouldn’t pay over 1000 FRN for a direct gas-impingement rifle. Especially one from Colt.

“Gouging” and “fair” are still “leftist” words when used in relation to other peoples’ pricing of private property that they put up for sale.

I would applaud if hoplophobes who put their fingers inside the trigger guard do so while the weapon is pointed at their own hips. Let them spend the rest of their lives in wheelchairs as the price of their stupidity.
