Teen Sex These Days

Are teenagers really having sex more so than in the past? In classical times (the Roman Empire and before), kids would get married around age 14, and males were joining the Roman army at that age, as well. Back then, you were an adult at that age. Same goes for the Jewish culture — back then, after your bar mitzvah, you were an adult, with all of the rights, responsibilities and duties adulthood entailed.

Or is this question just a symptom of the mentality pushed by the Falwell Followers — that “society” (meaning them) has the final say on what other people do where mutually consenting behavior is concerned . . . ?
